Rollover  (also known as mousehover, mouse over, hover state) refers to the act of ‘rolling’ a mouse over an image, button or link, and the interaction that produces. For instance, a change in colour, opacity, addition of an underline, or swap out of one visual for another, etcetera. The change in state indicates ‘clickability’.
